Noël d'amour

Christmas came and went by in a flash, and all that i remember are macarons, macarons & macarons. Christmas is the only season of the year that really excites me, so i'm kind of bummed that i did not get to go out, have a cup of eggnog and take it all in. I had a good Christmas nonetheless. It was the first Christmas without expectations; one that did not require the notion of presents as a part of the season. One that was fully enjoyable because of the people who was there to indulge in gluttony & be merry. Tis' indeed the season to be jolly.

The better half.

The best relationship is when the other half pushes you to be the best that you can be and motivates you to be someone better. The other half that gets you excited over the things that you know you're good at; the things that you're too afraid to try. The other half who points out the grey areas in your life; not to criticise or change you but to help you realise how you can improve in those areas.

And I've found that in Ryan. I've found my better half.

I can smell the rain. I could also use some cinnamon rolls right now. 

 1. Went bananas when i came across this barber in an alleyway. Such a beautiful sight. Things like this should be preserved in Singapore. 

 2. Toby's Estate. Concluded that Sydney's coffee culture is not comparable to Melbourne's. Coffee tasted flat. Looks like the upper class of Manchester Press thou. 

3. Always cannot resist taking a picture of coffee art.  

4. Early birthday package from Fat Dad. 

 5. Time for some home-made ice cream & sorbets.

6. Just some of Nanna's books sitting pretty on my desk. 

Singapore should start getting interesting right about now. One week till Hong Kong.
